anyone familiar with irisheyespoker setups in internet cafes?? they have the user/pass on the walls! i blogged about it here http://www.georgiecasey.com/2006/09/06/irish-eyes-poker-in-internet-cafes/

I know about it, they have it in my local pool hall and I think in the Fitzwilliam too. They would credit and debit accounts in the pool hall for you, you give say 50 euro to put into your account and then 3 euro an hour to use the pc, they would make that plus (i presume they get percentage of the rake.)

Anyway having all the username and passwords for everyone to see is off the wall. But in fairness, a/c's are debited as soon as customer stops playing. Playing at home with these usernames and passwords would be pointless, you'd have 0 balance and even if by some crazy off chance they forgot to debit a a/c, you would never see the money so why bother. If that was the case why not just play with play money.

Last of all, I'm unsure how I rate this Irish eyes poker. I thought it was great and better than paddypower when I was winning, had a good record, took about a grand in 3 sessions. THEN.... I had AA,KK,QQ,AA,KK cracked all in the same session by some crazy hands so I just dont like it anymore, lol. I'm sure Il play it again at somestage. Oh yeah currency is all in euro's.

That's some funny ****. I logged on with that account. No funds in it obviously. Then I went into the cashier section to see what I could find out. Got the owners email address, and sent him amesssage to thank him for letting me use his house account from the comfort of my home. For some reason the email gets bounced back. I could have change the entire account details if I wanted to. Muppetry of the highest ****ing degree.

If they offered more incentives to players, they wouldn't get comments like this perhaps :) At least they are not as bad as these CNUTS:http://ukpokercasinoblog.blogspot.com/2006/07/goalpoker-worst-poker-room-in-world.html

...loving the highlighted bit below from the FAQ on their website:

    What is the rake?

The rake is the money Irish Eyes Poker charge the players for the services we provide. This is deducted from the pots. The current rake structure is presented in our Poker Rules Section. If you only play with FunMoney there is no rake.
