my parents went on hiliday to Lanzarote. their flight was on Saturday. It was sceduled to depart at 11, so they were in the airport for about half eight. there was a delay and my parents didn't get out until 9:00pm. they spent 12 hours in the ****ing airport!

they didn't arrive in the appartment until 2:00am GMT so they lost a whole day of their holiday.

they talked to the airline and they were told the best thing they could do is talk to the travel agency when they get back.

do you know if there is anything they would get out of this?

Was it a package holiday or did they just book the flights? Was it a charter flight or was it a scheduled flight?
