This isn't personal adds. People can reply as they wish.

Do the fat burner presets on the cross trainer.

anything that gets your heart rate up to between 60 and 80%(i think) of maximum heart rate. If your heart is beating at 130bpm your burning fat (if your an average person in your twenties)

is there any tells for when you are beating that much? I know you can get those belts, but I'm not going to bother with one of them.

I find once you've started a decent sweat you're normally up around the 60 to 80% of Max HR

Thats the way it is with me................but then again I'm farly unfit

    Morning telecaster,

This question was answered in your earlier thread on lipotrim but you may have missed the links I gave you..so here they are..:) Read the following articles on my webiste to learn more about cardio activity for weight loss here at Walking for Weight Loss and here in Heart Rate Training.

I'd also adive a rigourous weight lifting program to imporve lean muscle mass so you naturally burn more calories and develop a faster metabolisim.

Simply apply these principals to your training whatever that may be, treadmill, bike, etc. Combine with a healthy diet, which we've talked about previously and you'll see results.

At the end of the day though its about consistent hard work and applying the advice given here on a daily basis.

    All the best

I would have said weights were the most important. If you are only working out for 1 hour in the gym, 3 times a week, then I reckon weights will take off more weight (well fat) than anything. On your days off your body is using up calories building more muscle, so it is like you burning more calories than usual every day.

Not really, weight lifting is anerobic activity and not the best for burning fat, aerobic activity such as cardio is more efficient.

save the money on gym fees and go for liposuction, that and diet is going to be more important for losing the fat, my personal favorite diet for weight loss is the pirate diet

weight lifting will increase lean muscle mass. muscle = active tissue and will raise the body's metabolism helping you burn more calories even at rest. Lean muscle mass also looks better.

If you could only do one, make it weights, just do them right. But really, the combination of both is the way to go.

If you're actually overweight you're not going to get slim from lifting weights, you'll need cardio in there too and you'll need to adjust your diet also.

Not strictly true. I know former lardies who took up weight training and good diet and lost weight and gained muscle. Cardio added in may speed up the process but with weights and diet alone you WILL lose fat .
