Guy getting the tickets says he needs names and passport numbers asap to get the tickets but I read elsewhere on this forum that the end of August was the deadline for finalising details on tickets. Can anybody clarify the situation? I'd hate to try to do someone a favour and unwittingly be party to an €1800 sting!

depends, could be corporate tix.

Find out his source, there is only one genuine source for normal addmission tix and that is Ryder Cup Travel Service www.rcts.co.uk
