You left out Pouhon, one of the best turns in F1 today

Classic circuit - me favourite on F1 05 on the PS2, although I always make a sh*te of the bus stop

I hope they haven't wrecked it though

Yeah, Villeneuve was always good for a major crash at Spa. Remember his massive crashes in 97 and 98 there.

Hoping to go to Spa next year. Anyone know where I can get a good package deal. Would like to go to the Friday as well

Spa was the first track I went to see a Grand Prix at.

    In a word: stunning.

Hearing the tremendous roar of the engines coming towards you through the forest and then the cars explode out of a corner into your vision was the best possible intro to live races I could have hoped for. Amazing track, great to see it back on the calendar.

I saw the best run of an only ok driver in a crap car at that track years ago

The one and only pedro Diniz. It was in the rain, and I think he was in a Sauber.
All i can remember is he came from about 15 place over 10laps and made his way up to the top 3, I was unbelievalble to watch. He over took on the track out braking in to corners in the wet. Best part of it all was him over takin the chin him self DC , a Sauber out breakin and out accelerating a McLaren . It was a pity the car gave out. Spa was always a great test of a car. Step up hill climb , very twisty and some good straights....always liked the hair pin and wall at the end of the start finish straight.

Spa was my first race and to be honest you can do it way cheaper than the package holidays offer. Book your ryanair flights long before it and your set. Either rent a camper van or get a train down from Brussels to Spa and head out to a campsite. We got general admission tickets which was fine on early sale you can get them for 150 euro (or at least 2 years ago they were). Flights were about 50 euro return and camping was for half nothing, and you get to meet loads of people.

There really is nothing like it, the sound is just amazing! We parked ourselves at Bus Stop and got to see Montoya overtake Schumacher (took a picture as it happened on my phone which is still my current screen saver). Just bring those little folding camping seats and lots of rain macs/ponchos/plastic bags and you'll have a great time :) (Dammit wish I could go!)
