    i lived there in first year savage craic!
    a bit like a barracks when you get there first but you get over that!
    i had the best time there so much fun
    ah good times!

    Stayed there for a weekend over the summer and thought it was a bit mank. That said it was clearly meant for first year students who'd be on the piss a lot - meaning there's very little that you can possibly break in it - so presumably is utterly suitable for it.

    Corrib village is a ****hole but that does not matter because you wil have an unreal first year there and make loads of friends.:)

    Woke up there once. Pretty much border line kip but perfect for 1st years tbh.

    Enjoy 1st year, 2nd year and the fun gets less and less.

    Im in Sligo myself but from Galway and lots of friends in NUIG
