    hi all

I got sky+ with multiroom a few months ago there. now I don't really use the multiroom and i have an ftv card for it anyway so I would like to cancel the multiroom. do you think i would get charged the difference in the installation of sky+ (it was cheaper with multiroom and no install charge) if I cancel before the 12 months are up?

    Cheers
    R.

I'd imagine you would get charged extra alright, though not sure of anyone who has cancelled in such a short space of time.

YOu can usually downgrade a package after 1 month. The OP isn't cancelling Sky subscription within the year, only "downgrading" so it should be possible.

You sign a one year contract when you sign up for multiroom. You will be charged for each month remaining in that contract (at €15 a month). But maybe if you shout at the Scotish people in the call centres and threaten to cancel you're whole subscription they'll let you off with it. You could also chance your arm at telling them that you're getting rid of your phone line and therefore cannot comply with your end of the contract but they'd probably still try to charge you the €15 for every month left.
