    Hi All
The bane of all classic car nuts - wife and kids (second on the way - kid that is!) is forcing me to get rid of my MGB GT - unfortunately it has seen better days. 1973 chrome bumper model in Old English White with Webasto Sunroof and rostyle wheels.
This one is not for the faint hearted it needs a lot of body work as well as a respray however the sunroof and interior are good and the engine just needs a new distributor. I had intended doing some work on it over the summer but I just havent had the time. The car will need to be trailered away as the clutch has seized due to being laid up for the past few months - I have a large history file detailing what has been done to the car going back to the early 80s if anyone is interested make me an offer the car is in West Limerick near Newcastle West

In my view that car has gone beyond economical repair. You would make more money selling it for parts or else selling individual items from the car on Ebay.

MGB Gt's are too common to spend lots on restoring one - but the common parts its shares with the much more sought after MGB roadster should ensure it still has a few money making possibilities. ;)

Remember that show An MG is Born?

It reminds me of that. As you dig into it, you would find more and more rust, less and less car.

the work of the MG Roadster in An MG is Born cost around £100,000. You can find a very good one fro 20 times less :)

    You sure?
I know the EType cost 85K sterling. Madness.
