Hey.. just wondering about the maintenence grants you get when going to higher education..i know they dont give the whole sum of money out all at once..but when do they give the smaller sums out and how many sums do they give out in the year.. like for example if i got 1000euro for the grant..and i got a part of the 1000…

Hey..

just wondering about the maintenence grants you get when going to higher education..i know they dont give the whole sum of money out all at once..but when do they give the smaller sums out and how many sums do they give out in the year..

like for example if i got 1000euro for the grant..and i got a part of the 1000 sum every 2-3 months during the year i would get from 250-330 every time...jus an example..

but when do they give a part of the sum out..is it like every month?

You should get it in 3 equal chunks - one around the start of term, one around January and another around April. The 'when' will depend on the Council, though.
