Revolution 4 is coming on September 29th 2006 to the Vaults in the IFSC and it promises to be our most exciting to date! Our theme for the night is 'Back to the Future' as it will comprise DJs from the past, present and our future Revolution heroes! We also envisage a fusion of what 'Clubbing' used to incorporate in our 'OLD SKOOL' room, modern clubbing as we have enjoyed over the last couple of years and what the future holds for Irish Dance Music fans as we broaden our horizons with specific international DJs that will appeal to our international clubbing friends living and working in Ireland 2006.

Our 'Old Skool' Vault looks back to a time of careless abandon where people felt free to cut loose on the dancefloor and feel a unique empathy and unity with their fellow clubbers.Get your whistles and boiler suits out and go back in time with two of Irelands renowned 'Classics' DJs Senan Shortt from Club Energize and Revolution Resident John Kerrigan.Taking you back a step further is SL2.Slipmatt (real name Matthew Nelson) has been DJ'ing since the beginning of the rave scene, with his first big break at one of the Raindance functions. He's played at Club Kinetic, Die Hard, Rhythm Section, Dance Paradise, Elevaton, Dreamscape, Temptation and Pandemonium and Rave Nation to name a but a few. He works with the Dy-Na-Mix agency based in Milton Keynes which is owned by Eddie Richard, Ultimate which is owned by Carl Cox and also Direct. He says that his music policy is simple "I play to the crowd". He is usually associated with with Happy Hardcore but he also likes to play the old skool classics, "Happy" Jungle sounds and House (where he DJ's under his real name). As well as DJ'ing he, like a lot of DJ's, also produces for other people as well as remixing. He found major chart success when he joined up with fellow Essex DJ, DJ Lime to form the group SL2 (named after the SL1200 turntables). They had three chart singles including "On a Ragga Tip" which reached number 2 in the Gallup charts. He also owns his own record company "Universal" which release uplifting Piano Melody Anthems as well as part owning "Awesome" records with DJ Lime. He is also A&R man of XL Recordings sub-lable - First Recordings, who released a more stompy remix of On a Ragga Tip at the beginning of 1997.

Our Hardhouse Vault features the DJs that have become synonomous with the Global dance scene over the last couple of years, some of the champions of Hard Dance.Headlining the night will be Paul Glazby who needs little introduction to HardHouse fans.Pauls production skills and set programming are second to none in hard house, enabling him to rock dancefloors with the kind of roof-raising, raw and uncompromising energy that many DJs try to emulate yet fail to achieve. His DJ sets and studio productions have cut out a unique and hugely popular sound at the harder end of the dance market, with Paul and his Vicious Circle label having a cult like status having scooped numerous industry awards in recent years, including Best Single , Best Remixer and Best Album .

The Career of Nick Sentience has spanned ten highly successful years, during which time he has produced over 120 tracks, remixed some of clubland s biggest smashes, collaborated with a stream of top artists and DJ ed at some of the world s most prestigious clubs..2006 looks bright already with Nick s first releases of the year gaining single of the month in IDJ (trance and hard dance pages in the same issue!) DJ mag and Mixmag. So with a new album nearly complete, expect more exciting developments soon.
Marc Johnson is attributed with being one of the more 'modern' Hard Dance Djs.If you're a hard house DJ then you can be fairly sure you've got some records in your collection that Johnson has been involved in. With his own label FlashPoint; his A&R position at Tripoli Trax; a series of releases on other labels including: Elasticman, EnergyUK, Passion, Recharge, Toolbox to name but a few Marc has firmly made an impression on today's hard house scene.

Joining them on the night will be Irelands answer to our UK counterparts Hardsounds Karl Davis who alongside John Kerrigan have ensured the Irish Hard Dance voice is being heard all over the world. Also in attendance will be FellowDJs.coms leading lady Scorchio joined by rising star Wayne M.

Our Trance room will feature our future Homegrown heroes, the ones we have faith in for the future including Dano M Alex Ryan, Revolution favourite M Sykes, Pulse FMs Trance Master Wayne Spellman and FellowDJs Saoirse Ryan finishing off the night. We at Revolution feel that both in the present and future it is essential to continue to nurture and encourage the talent on our own doorstep.

Moving into the Techno Vault and we have two more future Irish heroes in the form of the Underground Sessions DJs Slim Jim and Taff recently signed to Notorious North. Joining them will be Spin FMs John Gibbons who is helping to shape the future of clubbing by tailoring his sound specifically to our international neighbours.Currently tagged as Irelands answer to Corvin Dalek, Club Educate head-honcho John has guested in the vast majority of Irish clubs including PoD, Red Box, Temple Theatre, Radisson, Enigma, Rapture, Foundry, runs the hugely successful Vivid Vinyl tour nationwide, plays regularly in Europe and the US and has appeared on MTV Dancefloor, VIVA TV Europe and 4FUN TV Poland. We see this Vault in particular attracting a multicultural audience and to celebrate this we are proud to present Lucca who attributes kickstarting her rise to success with attending the Red Bull Music Academy in Dublin in 2000.From 2003, Lucca became part of Chris Liebings CLR booking for Germany and BENELUX. In Summer 2005 she was chosen by Carl Cox on his stage at Dance Valley festival, a couple of months later she got invitation from Tiesto to accompany him on his eastern european tour.At the end of 2005 Lucca released her first DVD on her label Acapulco.2006 has already seen her play the Love Parade in Berlin along with many other festival, this will be her Ireland and Uk debut, definatly not to be missed....
