Excellent Find Pal, Would have to agree with you about Hamilton, but I will have to turn back to RTE for half time and Full time analysis with good old Eamo.

On my Philips Pixel-Plus 2 TV, the BBC 3 picture is much clearer/sharper. Could the BBC be taking a HD feed and down-converting it to SD?

"....if you had been offered before the match started to be only 1-0 down at 85 minutes(long pause as he realises what he has started to say) you probably would have taken it....."

George tonight after 85minutes of the match.

The difference in sound quality between RTE and BBC is huge! The Hamilton/Houghton axis of evil was barely audible and very tinny at that, the Beeb was clear as day.

I notice that on Satellite RTE is much less sharp than my Analog feed from Woodcock Hill.

BBC tends to use a high bit rate. I suspect RTE on Satellite is a lower Bitrate.
