    Hi Guys,

Well I guess the title really covers what I want to know. I was thinking maybe 500 euro would do me for the 10 days. I hope to stay in reasonable accomadation but nothing too fancy. So is 500 euro ok. Any insight would be great.

€500 for 10 days would be nothing short of WHOPPING!

Ok so I could get by on less!! Sweet. What would a normal backpacker spend in 10 ten days?

I was on €20 a day spending money incl accomodation etc. So €200 for 10 days. But having said that, you'll probably need a bit more for transport etc. If you could afford €50, that would really be something.

Thanks breadmonkey, Just as a matter of fact, is there a web-site I can go to, to look at train time tables and bus time tables. Kinda like CIE and irish rail here. I look on google but keep goin in circles!!

50 a day will get you nice and chilly air con rooms and will let you travel in style.would prob be worth putting some of that extra money into flying around if possible save you from the overnight bus journeys

I think it was PunyHuman who gave me this blessed link.

    clicky

Or if you want something a little more "cultural":p
    http://www.railway.co.th/

Apart from that, you can walk into the train station and find out. The staff at the info counter were always very friendly to me and spoke good English.
