Is it true that farmers who have 'show cows' use washing powder, like Daz or Persil, to get their cows' appearance up to show standard?

This gets left but Party Time, hardly a controversial thread or as silly as a show cows thread, gets locked? Oh well, no party then. No need to wash my cow either then. They'll just stay where they are until January. Not a great start to September, but I know there are good days in it to come, even ones for which cows may get special attention, as well as sheep. Come All-Ireland Finals time, there are plenty of painted cows and sheep that will need washing later in the month. Hold on to that washing powder so!
