If i get Sky digital in one room in my house and dont take the multiroom option can i get any stations in other rooms/tv sets in my house without paying extra? basically i think im asking what are the channels you get free with sky and even if you cancel you subscription you could get them with the equipment you get from sky and then own.
    cheers

Link is for the Free channels you'll get on your skybox without subscription.

To get stations in the other room(s) you can either wire RF2 on the output of your existing box to the other room, though you can't watch 2 seperate channels from one satellite receiver.

What you could do is get a quad LNB for your dish which will allow up ot 4 receivers to be wired to the dish. Free-to-air (FTA) boxes can pick up the channels listed in the link above or indeed Sky digiboxes without a card.
