Myself and KP went out in the same hand when he went all in with A10 off suit, i duly followed with AhQh and after a good dwell up a guy called with 9s9d. Flop comes down AsKs10s turn is a spade and KP and myself hit the rails.

I was down to 2k and up to 9k for ages. I also got really really lucky against KP a little earlier when he raised and i went all in with 9h9c he turned over pocket 10's, flop shows nothing of help to me except 2 hearts, so needless to say i get runner runner heart to win with the flush.

Went out 14th and kp 13th, ah well, a little less painful than the bubble las month. Maybe im saving the final table for the festival you never know. Unlucky KP you were motoring along for ages.

Sat down to a cash game, but couldn't get my head around it at all. €1 €2 pot limit game, so it went something like this, €1 €2 raise to €7 8 players so €56 in pot. Original raiser bets €10, fold fold fold, raise to €20. Now you would think happy days, but when i was getting muck, I mean muck, it was frustrating so i left and headed into Fitz, where I played the most heartbreaking and brillant game that is Pl omaha. Left at 2.00 a.m. shattered. All pokered out now, might give it a rest til oh Friday.

I should have won it save some bad beats and one vital lost race setting me out in 20th.

I should have just done a masters and masacred my stack on the third hand.

Excellent tourney. Plenty chips to play with, smooth slow structure. Really felt good throughout until a series of pitfalls when we got down to last 2 tables (74 runners).

I didn't mind the TT v 99 beat too much (how could you begrudge a lady as nice as Smurf an occasional outdraw!). It was a hand shortly before that when I realised it wasn't going to be my day.

Blinds 600-1,200 I'm playing average stack of around 22k. One EP limper (he had 14k before the hand), so I make it 6,000 from cutoff with AQ. Flop J74, he checks, I push all-in, he calls for his last 8,000 and his 66 stands up. If he was happy to put his entire stack of 12 big blinds and his tournament life on the line with 66, I just wish he had done it with a little aggression; at least if he pushed in on the flop himself, I can fold and still have 16k!

Anyway, I'm nearly over it now 36 hours later... after that hand, steam coming out my ears, I quickly rebuilt stack to 15k approx before the TT v 99 crash, which left me with a measly 4k. Urgently rebuilt stack to 15k again and didn't really need to push that AT from UTG (blinds still only 800-1,500 but we were only 7-handed and average stack now circa 35k). But push the AT I did and despite taking the lead on the AKT flop in the 3-way coup, I finished 3rd/3 when our friend with the 99 four-flushed on the turn and the river came not an Ace or 10 to fill me up but a King.

So this one definitely gets filed under the "unlucky but could do better" category. Well done to Mike and his team of (Green) Jokers though for a very impressively run tourney.
