MGB Restoration

    Hi,

    Can anyone recommend someone to do some restoration and a respray on an MGB?

    There are two car restorers that come to mind - 'The Morris Minor Centre', Ranelagh and another guy in County Dublin (don't recall his name offhand, can find it if you want it. Both should be listed in my 'Classic Specialist & Suppliers' thread).

    I sometimes wonder if anybody reads that thread?!

    However, I would highly recommend that you contact the MG Ireland Club for advice before engaging anybody to do work on your car. (Club listed in 'Clubs' thread).

    Yep, check with clubs.

    I know of only one MGB specialist in my area: Tommy Sheridan in Donabate 087 644 4233

    I met him only once, so I cannot advise on his qualities.

    David Marcus in Roveagh,Clarinbridge,Co. Galway is the MG Specialist out west and looks after my '65 midget.Annoyingly,I've mislaid his no. but his brothers all have garages in the area and could be googled.
