    Depends on your taste in music.

    For me, I go for the stuff that gives you that drive, that little bit of excitement that makes you just want to pound it out.

    For example, my last thirty minutes of the treadmill, these are the songs that I had playing;

    1) Fire Eye'd Boy by Broken Social Scene
    2) 7/4 Shoreline by Broken Social Scene
    3) Latchmere by the Maccabee's.
    4) Insistor by Tapes N' Tapes
    5) Where The Streets Have No Name, by U2
    6) Never Let You Down by Kanye West.

    I find that especially for running, something with a big, loud solid bassline really helps as well.

    mine was a bit more intense... for weights i used some prodigy, Nas, lots of heavy techno and aggressive rap.

    For cardio, I found SYOAD's album Mesmerize was pretty good for keeping the pace up, even though I'm not really a fan of that genre of music.

    our gym (UCD) has played coldplay and damien rice on occasion in the weights room... sources tell me they do this when they see people not re-racking weights.

    **** (staff and those who dont re-rack)

    For the treadmill etc i like mindless music, so I listen to goa or psy while I'm running and more aggressive music for weights, such as the aforementioned Rammstein, Rage, etc etc.

    At the moment I like "Ain't no other man" by Christina Aguilera, "Maneater" - Nelly Furtado, "one more time" - daft punk, "one" U2 & Mary J Blige, "Valerie" The Zutons, "Don't bother" - Shakira and "Faster kill Faster Pussycat" - Paul Oakenfold & Brittany Murphy

    They're all good and upbeat

    Love the drumming on this, aside from heavily the politicized video

    Maybe for when you're relaxing after a heavy session in the gym ;);)
