You call all the way with an ok A, dont like most of these calls. Then you call with a potential flush and a paired board. You only make this call if you have a good read on the player which it doesnt really seem as if you do,
call eventually coz i think my ace is good enuff
1/3 your stack Id want to be a little more positive about my A here

Fold the turn for me but then again everyone knows im overly tight, unless drunk, then be wary

A pre flop raise and bet on every street especially with that river card, i'd say you are behind here most of the time

A 10o is not a hand that you should call a raise preflop with.

Depending on the villian in question, i may well fold this pre flop because i hate A 10 with a passion.

Once you call preflop and hit your ace, why not raise his flop bet? you think your ace is ahead so find out now if it is or not. the turn and river betting probably wont come into play if you raise on the flop and you won't be put to a diificult decision.

I'm guessing you won this hand against a crappier ace (A9 is my guess).

It actually scares me how many times this situation comes up in the 1/2 pl holdem games around dublin and i don't know why people want to get involved in marginal hands when a good player has such a big edge at most of these tables.

This is not a good call without a good reason/ read. I get a feeling you won the hand but that doesn't change the fact that, as posted above, this is not a good call.
