    SUDDYN, READERS WIVES & Moriarty
Chart topping New York rockers SUDDYN occupy The Speigeltent on September 12th as part of the Magnet Entertainment Dublin Fringe Festival ’06. Club Spiegel in the Docklands will soon resonate with SUDDYN’s compelling combination of edgy guitar driven rock, broody melodic piano arrangements and soulful lyrics.

The Dublin Fringe Festival (September 9th –24th) is synonymous with the celebration of emerging artists and SUDDYN are no exception to this trend. SUDDYN began their assault on the Irish music scene just 7 months ago. In this short time SUDDYN have had groundbreaking success on their journey from complete virtual anonymity to chart topping sensations.

SUDDYN’s whirlwind attack began with the release of their debut single "Drowning Souls" last February. “Drowning Souls” was a top ten hit for 2 consecutive weeks peaking at No.8! Unprecedented demand for their single put SUDDYN in the position of Best Selling Unsigned Act in Ireland.

And with a worldwide selling ring tone, Top 20 spot in the NME New Music Chart, Extreme Sports DVD soundtrack, heavy media attention such as a glowing review from HotPress and an live performance on POP 4 to name a few, SUDDYN are well on their way to world domination.

SUDDYN epitomize what can be accomplished with bit of blood sweat and tears on the battlefield and have won over a army of fans and the hearts of the critics in the process:

    "Epic"
Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers)

    “The next big thing”
    U Magazine

“Sugar-sweet piano-driven melodies, played with energy and sung with panache”
    Hotpress

“One of the best bands rising from the rock scene at the moment”
    InDublin Magazine

“Drowning Souls is a gloriously dramatic tune that recalls Suede at their most decadent”
    Alan Corr, RTE Guide

SUDDYN will raise-the roof of the Spiegeltent on September 12th @ 10pm. Admission E15.

    Moriarty
This Franco-American, Swiss, Peruvian and Vietnamese outfit present hypnotic desert blues and sublime vocals with a nod to Kerouac and Tom Waits as father figures.
While the Parisian diva sings in her armchair with her eyes on fire, the Garçons cast blue suede ballads on makeshift guitars and double bass, tin drums and heroic harmonicas. More @ Moriartylands
