Arts Subjects

Hey, new student! I'm a little unsure of which subjects I should pick for Arts in a week or two. I have ideas but I'm trying to narrow it down.

I was wondering what your experiences of the various subjects were. Which should be avoided at all costs in your opinions and which were good? Are there any with very poor lecturers and which had really good ones while you were there? And which are massively huge and which not so gigantic, cos I was advised to do 2 big ones and 2 lighter ones.

    Any help appreciated and accepted.

EDIT: How were they examined also? Thanks :-)

That's arather impossible question to answer. Everybody taxes something different from a subject. Some will hate it, some will love it.
If I was going into Arts I would pick Philosophy, English, Legal science and Psychology. my younger brother will be starting Arts and he will pick Philosophy, English, Geography and Psychology.

Subjects are examined by essays at the end of teh year in an eam and you hand up some during the year. I have just lived with Arts students, not one myself.

What subjects do you feel you like most?
    Just do them.
