Myself and a mate are trying to set up a game of live.

I'm in Dublin him in ICeland.

But for some reason we cant join each others games. We keep getting an error message saying that Bungie or MS or who ever runs halo live are having network problems please try later.

My friend just got a new 30mb fiber BB and thought that might be the problem but wasnt (his ISP checked and siad everything was ok)

    Any one have similar problems?

Make sure you and his NAT setting are set to "open" and not "Strict" when the Xbox runs its Live connection tests, one of the lads here told me it can be changed in the router configuration screen, that stopped me getting in games a couple of times, when I changed it ive had no trouble playing with mates anywhere in the world... mine were originally set to strict

Thanks for that but it didnt work. We still have the same problem. We have no problem joining random games but we just cant join each others games.

I'm on the 360 and he is the normal xbox but that shouldnt make a difference. Hasnt in the past anyways

Sorry for being a dumbass about this but are the NAT settings changed on the router or the 360

You aren't able to join this party becasue we're having network problems. Sorry about that.

Fieldog I sent you an invite. If your online any time soon I'd appricate to see if we could set up a party to figure whats going on
