Sky Digital - Eye

Hey,

Got Sky Digital installed this week, have a coax going from the box to another room and can see whatever channel is on the box. I am now looking purchase one of the magic eyes.

I found these on eBay and they seem alot cheaper than what I was expecting to pay. Dont get me wrong the price is right im just wondering can anyone here let me know if these are in fact worth the few pound they are charging?

Global is an established brand and I have always found their gear of reasonable quality. The other ones MAY be nasty.
You should be able to buy a magic eye (triax /global etc.) for around €20 in most electrical shops or from satellite installers. For such a small amount I would not bother with ebay, easier to get it changed if faulty and no hidden "postage and packing" costs.

Yup, I agree with Rippy, the Triax and Global eye's are definitely the most reliable of them all.
