ooohhhh super stuff. Is it a load of hassle to geotag everything though... how so you go about starting one of these? fd toys?

Simple as anything. Go to "Organise" and then to "maps" and just drag the pics to the location. Great craic! :p

great addition to flickr ,gives it the natural geographic touch :D
I seen your shots with the tag earlier ,hadn't a clue what it was though.

It's a bit rough and ready but it's only available a few hours ago. Zoom in and you can be very close to the spot where the pics were taken. Most of mine are out in the Atlantic so I'm sure they will never be spotted. Best place for them? I heard ya!! :p

When did this feature go live, I've been playing with it all evening and its pretty awesome. Its a mite buggy still - I've had lots of problems adding photos to several nearby locations, specifically getting them all to show. :|

This stopped me from getting my well needed early night! Sigh :(

Tis so much fun, I had to zoom right in to locate Waterloo, you need a big of a sense of direction it seems :P

i'm going to resist this feature for as long as i can, tis bad enough being led away at tangents looking at other people's pics for ages and ages besides having this new map thingy to whittle away more of my precious time. Even as things stand i don't have enough time to process all the shots i've taken or i'm just not organised enough,

looks like great fun all the same

    :)

I can't get it to work in Firefox, then again I can't get any Google map thing to work either. It's ok in IE though.

Is there any way to tag whole sets at once or do ya have to drag photo by photo? Huge pain in the rear end to do it one by one.

Just select them in the organiser the same as you select files, using the "ctrl" or "shift" key and drag the shabang to the spot.

sheeyat, I knew I should have been geotagging sets as I went along... it's gonna take a while to add all these :(
