Fuji 9500 Can you look at my photos why are they gainy looking.

    Hope this works can you tell me why these could be grainy or am I being over critical
    They also look over exposed
    I used the auto feature on the camera it was my 1st time useing the camera am i doing something wrong also I have resized to 800 x 600 to upload

    they look overexposed, the white balance is off and some are out of focus. maybe read the manual fully and try shots using different exposure settings to learn how your camera works

    any consumer camera will be noisy at 800iso

    they look like they were taken at a very high ISO and also the aperture and shutter priority were hardly on auto

    check the scene mode, like make sure it's set to auto and not night. Theres prolly a setting for full auto, try that and see what happens when you take a few pics

    i meant to say 800 and above. a high iso used may account for the overexposure

    Checked Iso and it was at 1600 the highest Ill see if I can find any more settings thanks guys hopefully this will explain why

    you should get pretty good results with auto and if not on that, in good light you can use that camera at ISO 80 which should give very clear sharp detail.

    The 9500 is noisy at ISO400 and above. For best results keep it at 100, or 80 if light levels allow.

    Visit the metering section in the manual. Worth a read.
