    Ladies/Gents,

    Going to a festival at the weekend and I dont have a clue what to bring.
    I haven't been to a festival for years..

    Has anyone got any tips for what to bring to keep me festival fit for the weekend?

    So I can make a list of stuff to bring.

    Thanks

    Yeh I made that list for when I went to Roskilde festival in Denmark, now that festival lasted 6 days and I used everything on that list so for Electric Picnic you might not need everything on that list. Its handy to browse through and see what you might need though.

    Beer, Money, bog roll, Ticket + Tent.

    Every thing else is optional.

    toothbrush and earplugs :)

    ::edit::
    Maybe a few big bottles of drinking water, as i would imagine they will cost a small fortune at the festival.

    get yourself a cheap and leave it at the campsite when you're going home. taking down a tent is the last thing you want to be doing when its over. but most importantly, enjoy yourself!

    Dont bring anything valuable - you WILL lose it! I was sorry I even brought my phone to ...ahem.. a music festival.. actually I didnt use half the stuff I brought, even the clean clothes, altho they are important if it rains. Bring a raincoat, loads of socks, dry shoes, umbrella because the weather hasnt been the best lately and cant see it improving much at the weekend. Seriously being wet really really sucks when your stumbling around drunk tryna find your tent at 4am.

    First and foremost Alcohol! ....Red wine is a good idea as it is meant to be drank warm and warm it will be if ur goin to a festival. Errm what else, clothes and baby wipes.. Also sun cream!

    Wouldn't bring any food cause theres loadsa places that do food at festivals and you'll be spoilt for choice!

    Don't bring a camera or a phone or anything valuble. I broke my camera which cost me 250 quid and I still havnt got around to fixin it it :( Anyway, disposable cameras will be on sale at the festival.

    And remember, bring lotsa drink!! :D

    Might be a good idea to bring a suitcase with wheels on it aswell.

    okay to 'survive' I reccomend:

    * Juice - capri sun cartons are ideal
    * the anti bac gel that you don't need water for to wash your hands after * porto potty to avoid tummy bugs
    * a battery operated phone charger for your mobile
    * lots of spare socks
    * mini torche you can stick in your pocket during the day
    * tissues and wet wipes
    * plenty of water ( stick some bottle tops in your pocket as they will take them off you but then you will have some to put your water in your bag/pocket)
    * wear shoes with laces - if you have no laces they will stick in the mud
    * spare lighters
    * a good warm jumper - doubles up as pillow etc

    enjoy the gig

    If you're going to Electric Picky, bring some rain gear. It's looking like a wet weekend. I think we're gonna get the tail arse of some hurricane or something.
