Seems like the teams behind IL-2 Sturmovik and the Combat Mission series are bringing out a real time WW2 tactical wargame, Theatre of War. Its scheduled for a Q4 2006 release and the demo, whilst "done when its done" is apparently due out some time in September. Given the quality behind it, definitly one to track.

Theres a report of a game on the site, but theres another one or two examples of hands on play out there as well; a Human/French defeat to the AI/Germans here and what appears to be the same scenario linked to on the official site, but this time played from the Polish side here.
