Here we go people... am itching for this.. and just a reminder which i hope not to state again in the future.. shall add it to the charter soon:

There is absolutely NO NEED FOR SPOILER TAGS FOR DISCUSSION OF THIS EPISODE after this post.

I don't want to start handing out temporary bans or anything like that for such a daft offence but it's also important to note:

SPOILER TAGS SHALL BE REQUIRED FOR ANY FUTURE PLOT DETAILS and such that you may have read elsewhere and also consider any seriously "spoiler-ish" plotline information to have a warning before it telling us so.

PS - and before you ask, the synopsis will be spoilered as always due to revealing plot details which some people don't take too kindly to round these here parts! :D

gave it a 6 not alot happened really. taught it was good the way the convicts parted ways without arguements about the money.... cause now its just a race to see who gets there first.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,013 ✭✭✭lynchie

Wasn't too bad. Found it a little too easy for them to make their way into the courthouse building undetected though..

Suprised Abbruzi didnt push him for the location of Fibonacci before parting ways.

Good seeing belleck getting fired!! Although, it sets it up for him to take on the Dog Bounty Hunter role!

ya you can see what they are trying to develop, a wacky races type show! but this episode for me developed nothing new, except for the personal crusade that Bellick is now on, I was hoping this is what they would do. But overall bit of a pointless show, why didnt they just shoot the FBI agent in the shoulder or something to rescue LJ, cant believe they just left him there!!

isnt scofield the only one who knows exactly where the money is? felt a bit sorry for bellick there for a bit, thought he was actually going to pull the trigger. ol jon aburtsy got fairly nervous at the mention of t-bag, looking forward to seeing how that one plays out. gave this one a six, bit of a let down after the first one

    Great episode.

Still no sign of Kellerman. Is he still part of the show? Or did they drop him when the woman playing the President decided not to return?

I'm a bit puzzled at how a vet managed to perfectly sew T-Bag's hand back on, though.

Just started watching this to be opening credits.. and i've noticed Mahone is now credited as William Fichtner (as opposed to Bill Fichter) last week... best to leave it at William but wonder why it was Bill in the first episode.

Anyways, enjoying it so far. Am glad they've parted ways as the show would have been too manic with each of them running together. Best for them to split ways and divide storylines between characters.

good episode but tbh when mike and lincoln take the office interiors van after the botched lj rescue why the hell did the cops not shoot the tyres it would be the first thing i think about.

Really enjoyed this episode... not as much as last week but still quite tense.

The courtroom stuff was good - loving William Fichtner in that role. I think he definitely envies what Michael did but can be an evil heartless son-of-a-bitch to get his man (or men as the case may be). And i've seen more people on other forums mention there's no way he'd have noticed the lift thing? If LJ did and he heard the same phone call as Mahone, why not... Mahone is undeniably smarter than LJ.

Also glad they left LJ behind - can you imagine if he was brought along with them? Every episode would have a sprinkling of teary-eyed LJ and Daddy Dearest reminiscing over pancakes and feelings and such.... blaaahhhh - no thank you! Have fun in Arizona LJ! :D

Not sure about the way the show is going in a Wacky Races style - still think Sucre and C-Note aren't as interested in the money as the rest of them but we'll see how it plays out.

And we also have Bellick (and possibly Pope in time) going rogue with no rules or laws for them to . Enjoyed them getting Geary back to testify against Bellick - who genuinely looked very upset to be losing that job

    Got a 7 / 10 from me.. looking forward to next week's!
Still no sign of Kellerman. Is he still part of the show?
Well, Paul Adelstein (who plays Agent Kellerman) is listed in the opening credits so he's bound to appear sooner or later.

Solid enough episode, but nothing amazing. Can't believe I actually felt bad for Bellick, with his comment about working in Fox River since he was 18 and hugging his mommy :) I'm glad he will become a bounty hunter type character.

Not great from my PoV. Didn't have that same "they can get caught any second" tension that most of the first series had and last week's ep had.

Glad to see it's William Fichtner, I hope someone got fired for that blunder.

I think the ep overall needed to be done to split the characters and set up the individual storylines, which will inevitably cross and recross.

Aburzzi has a plan, definitely. Even though he found Jesus he still is a Mafioso so there's going to be something there. Hang on a minute, wasn't Fibrunacci meant to testify in four weeks from Michael's entrance. Didn't they get held back a week or so, when Linc got his stay of execution? So shouldn't have Fibrunacci retestified by now?

Or, is that mute since the other dude is in prison anyway? And Abruzzi wants Fibrunacci for revenge purposes only?

Anyway, I really like Abruzzi and T-Bag's characters, it's a pity one will die by the end of the season when they have their face off.

Like most others said.. I enjoyed this one, but not half as much as the first one.

I did feel a bit sorry for Bellick and I will enjoy his new bounty hunter role. I'd imagine Pope will get in on some of that action too!

Can't wait to see the next one :D

I only started watching prison break last week after someone i know got the whole first series on iTunes and gave em to me, so i won't enjoy this whole "waiting a week for the next one" malarky!!!

I thought it was a great episode and actually did enjoy it more than last week. I just felt it set up the season better, and now everyone is on their way(most lilkely to the same place so expect a collision course there)

T-Bag after all his funny quotes was shown to be one evil bastard again. I have to say I forget he is that evil because he is so damn funny!

I must say Tweener cracks me up, I think he adds humour to the show.

I'm wondering what direction they will take. Will it be like Lost where they concentrate mainly on 1 character an episode and their travels, and then little cameos from the other escapees, or just 5-7 stories that interchange.

One thing that annoyed me, and I'm not one to notice nor pick holes in the show but the police when shooting the van Michael and Linc were in, why didn't they shoot the wheels, problem solved....

Prison Break: Its a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (Anyone remember that movie? PB is now the same, but without the comedy ... or Spencer Tracy :))

I'd give this one a 7 too. I liked the sense of paranoia that the fugitives were feeling when they got a funny look from a member of the general public. Its going to be a fun episode in Utah when they all meet up!

The courthouse scenes were excellent too....

Yeah good episode , I like the sense of paranoia that builds up when the characters are out in public but any sense of pity I had for T-bag went when he killed the vet I really did'nt think he was going to do that ! Good to see Bellick get a new sense of purpose as a bounty hunter he really livens up the show even if he is just a big Mammys boy at heart !
Definitely think Abruzzi has something up his sleeve he went far too easily without finding out about Fibonacci but cant see Pope going rogue he has too many morals for that

basquille's right, I'm just speculating. They hate each other, and the characters are well written and played so that we like the villians.

How do you do spoilers anyway?

of course not, they can't shoot 22 episodes that quickly. Id imagine they might have about 12-13 episodes in the bag at the moment and shoot the rest throughout the year.

Have they confirmed a massive break after 13?

I thought they only did that last year because they got commissioned for more than the initial cut of episodes and had to film them. But they were commissioned for a full 22 episode season this year and was one of the first shows to start airing this year (August 21st) and filming (June 15th) so i'd imagine no need for a break.

Good enough episode, not as tense as others though. The fact that they weren't able to rescue LJ, is good because now they have to somehow prove his innocence (and Lyncs along the way), instead of hightailing it straight to mexico with LJ in tow, happy as Larry..
I don't think Dr Gudat is dead either, possible that T-Bag did not inject him with enough "nighty-night little puppy" injection. There could be a few nice car chases yet.
Tweener back to his ol tricks again, i wonder who gets to Utah first (also are American students really that trusting, in bringing a total stranger with them on a road trip, alone!!?)
Can't wait to see what Haywire is up to, hopefully he will make his apperance next week..

Enjoyed the episode but I think the show had lost a lot of what made it great.

The first series was all about the execution of a maticulous plan, which built up week on week. This series though a lot of the intelligence is gone.

The whole element of them thinking on their feet, dosen't dosen't work a well. Despite the fact they are in a much more fraught situation, there seems to be less tension.
It's like the same characters in a different show. I'm a little worried that series 2 is turning into Joey compared to the Friends that was series 1.

Also, wouldn't there have been a lot more media attention at the courthouse for LJ?

Noticed Peter Stormare was only credited as a guest star in this episode. Maybe we won't see much of him this season.
There was a lot of plot holes this episode which I didn't like but had to over look. Like the water pistol sprayed black, what kind of FBI agent would fall for that. And the €200 climbing rope picked up in a crappy hardwear store.

In fairness the whole show is full of that kind of shít. It's about as realistic as the A-team, but entertaining nonetheless.

the college student twenner picked up is no doubt going to have a part to play in future episodes in my opinion...i have a feeling she knows who he is but is one of those girls who likes to feel special and important (i just have a feeling that they will gang up)

didn't like linc walking around in the open with no attempt to shield his face from the public. That was stupid.

the otis right thing was far fetched too...

overall i perferred it to last week because.....TBAG!
    Legend!

"hello mr ubdaggfa?" ha ha brilliant!
i thought he was going to cut up the doctor..or take his eyes and his tongue out....especially when he had the little knife up to his face..

i'm not vet nor have i ever had my hand chopped off but can you regain the feeling in your hand after it's being stiched on like that?

i saw a wrigleys believe it or not whereby some Suiss police officer had his hand rebuilt using a convicts (dead convicts) hand and he regained feeling after about 6 years of physio (i'm parraphrasing here but it's all true)

sticking a leg back onto a chicken....sticking a horses head back on...putting a hand back on after it's being chopped off, that's the simple vet stuff that you learn while in the pub reading beer mats. If you can't do that you might as well get off the train.

Good ep, gave it an 8. That college student is as thick as two short planks for agreeing to drive Tweener to Utah. If I saw someone as shifty-looking as that looking for a spin, I'd drive through a puddle and splash him.

I really thought Bellick was going to bite the bullet. He reminds me of Principal Skinner, living at home with his mammy. He'll make a good bounty hunter though.

I think Pope will start his own investigation into where the convicts are gone and he'll find out about the conspiracy to frame Linc. He'll take over the that side of the story now that Veronica and Nick are dead.

    About T-Bag killing the vet...
tbh i didn't really like it either (as a general situation), just like when he killed C.O. Bob, but it has to be done, otherwise the show would become too...wussy or something.

we can't have everyone repenting for their sins, and we've already got Abruzzi doin that (he was gonna kill T-Bag but then found God.)

That's what i love about T-Bag's character, the inner conflict i think everyone has when watching him - you want to like him because he's funny and has such great lines, but then you think about what a sick bastard he is

I reckon the doc could team up with Pope as well cos she will probably look for Michael too. Pope isn't pleased with the doc now cos she left the infirmary door open the night of the escape, but that could change if he finds out Linc is innocent.
The doc will probably forgive Michael now that she's read that note saying there's a plan to make everything all right. What were those dots on the note? Was it Braille for "Fancy a shag?"

didnt like linc walking around in the open with no attempt to shield his face from the public. That was stupid.

he has a condition called "Massivus Headus".
it basically means he can't wear a hat.

but seriously, yeah that was stupid, and he sould be the one that should be hidden most, i think, because i assume he's been featured in the news a hell of a lot more than the other 7 (his original "crime" involving the vice president, the fact that he was put on death row, the appeals, Veronica talking to the reporters, his son being charged with double homicide and attempted murder(i think)) so i'm sure his face has been on the news plenty of times and he would be more easily recognised.
