help.... no sky picture

hello folks.there is now no picture on my sky just sound .i have checked all the connections inside the house all seems to be ok. i put on sky news and pressed the red button and when it changed to active i got a frozen picure.the screen is just black when i change sky channel but as stated earlier i do have sound can anyone help please??

It sounds to me that you have a loose scart lead at the back of the box if you are getting sound but no picture.
Try pushing the lead in fully ,I have this problem a good bit coz i got a video-sender connected

Are you in the Dublin area? This happened to me yesterday at about the time of your post. It just fixed itself after a few minutes. There was an extremely heavy rainstorm at the time with some thunder. I wonder if that could cause it?

no johnny im in wexford ..i took out all the scarts etc and ''blew'' the dust off them replaced and all is now well
