Sellers Taking Their Time

I've not bought anything from Ebay in years and only just started again this week. I bought some stuff for the missus, and with the first item the seller was really quick in coming back to me and telling me that the payment had been received and the item was shipped.

With the second and third items I bought for her, I paid for them on Saturday night and haven't heard a peep from this seller despite my sending two messages. OK perhaps I paid too soon, but the seller was located in Germany, has had 150+ sales in the last two years and has a 99.5% feedback.

My question is are some people just slow to come back to you? Should I hold off for the moment in ranting and raving at them? Am I just being too impatient?

Jesus its only monday, you paid on saturday night so its less than 2 days since you paid.....give them a bit of time! If nothing by tomorrow evening send a more strongly worded email asking what the situation is.

Ahh hey I'm prompt so I kind of expect the same, and the service from the first seller was excellent, so ya know......

    No worries.

A guy with 150 feedback is obviously only doing it in his spare time. Give 48 hours, excluding the weekend before contacting him. Btw, ebay rules specify nothing about a seller contacting you to tell you payment is recieved and stuff is shipped.

The powersellers do this, but I certainly dont.

Alot of sellers have automated emails sent out when the payment is received and so on. I wouldn't worry about it too much, sometimes I don't get any shipment confirmation but the item always arrives promptly.

Grand so, I know it's not in the rules, but I thought it would just have made sense to say something. OK I'll stop being a dick now!
