    12 Months of Anticipation... 1 weekend.Kenmare, Co. Kerry, October 7th & 8th

    For those of you who weren't there last year, FSKD Ireland hosted a hugely successful competition in Killarney, Co. Kerry, with representation from over 15 countries world wide (including Russia, China, Japan, Holland, Italy and more!).

    What's Ju-ippon semi contact point sparring?

    Yes, it is semi-contact, with strict enforcment of the Ju-Ippon Rules in the facial area.

    Hi Orlie,

    Could you expand on 'Ju Ippon Kumite Rules' as I understand it Ju Ippon Kumite is limited sparring, Ju Kumite is free sparring (technique) and in some (most) trad. shotokan events 'shobu-ippon' rules apply.

    Possibly you have a different definition of Ju-Ippon?

    Can you let us know?
