hey Dave a heartfelt thanks for the Waterford team you gave us some buzz for the last two hours of the tournament when we should of been dead and buried and were proud that we were teammates of such a class player and person. As I said in a post when you agreed to play for us it was like getting Thierry Henry on a free transfer.

I'm a bit gutted that we had no one there in the latter stages of the game to add points and support you and you had to carry the flag alone. I have no doubt that if this tournament is run 10 times we have 3 or 4 players in the last 50 the other 9 times.

Level four was where we lost it as a team when three players got into huge 30k+ pots with the worst being a 81% fav and lost all three.

I also feel that as captain I missed a huge opportunity to cut a deal which would of netted 20k for the team. There were only 3 laois/Tyrone and us in for the place money and I'm sure the other two captains thought they were just splitting the 3rd place prize and would of agreed to any practical offer. Things moved so fast I missed the opportunity however as in the game hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Again Dave thanks very much if that J dosent come or a 6 J or heart in the other hand, well the final result would of been

    1. leitrim
    2. David O' C
    3. laois/Tyrone

If in fact you do ever visit Waterford you will be very drunk for free, thanks a million sir

Terrible thing to say but unfortunately for Dave the Laois team also owe him thanks... for not winning :)

Could I agree with Nicky, thanks a million Dave for a truly brilliant performance.

As a team we thought we were dead and buried on Friday at close of play. What a roller coaster ride we got, apologies we had no one to support you.

Would love to give it another go, same team, same conditions, same venue but like Nicky said a different result

Thank Dave, a pleasure to play on the same team, in fact a honour.
(If we happen to meat on opposites sides of the table ever again, you can just ask for my BB, I'd be afraid to defend it anyway LOL).
