POE performance?

    Runs sweetly for me have yet to drop below 100fps, due to the openess of it it runs faster than normal Bf2 maps. Played a 64 man last night and it was great no slowdown at all.


    Anyone having any issues with it?

    the usual problems that suffer my BF2 are there...though the stutter that comes in the first few minutes into a map are less then with BF2.

    Though the loading bit (where it verifies) still takes bloody forever.

    Better performance than BF2, much smoother and as ever, verifies in less than 40 seconds (sorry Blitz) :)

    I find the maps are taking their time to load.Ingame it runs perfect with high fps but so does vanilla.

    I know, its just that between loading and verify'ing its a good display of very bad code optimisation for the seer amount of time it takes.

    takes ages to logon to account server and sometimes doesnt. Still lets me play if it doesnt though. No improvement in load + verify times.

    "Verifying" verifies what? Checksums of all files loaded, the executable on the hard-drive, what?
    Aside from overall system speed or netconnect factors being an issue, my next suspicion would be disk I/O. THis could be pagefile-related, filesystem (proper defrag and optimisation recommendedif so), or storage driver/hardware/hard-disk related.

    Or it's just ghey.

    Wow I thought I was the only one who thought it ran better then BF2 as most ppl ive talked to have problems running the game.

    Its common for mods to take more outa your pc then the original.
