I was dozing out the back listening to Bertie being interviewed by Gerald Barry on the news at one on Sun.
The item was the Gt. Southern Hotels and Berties association with them as a guest...

In one passage I thought Bertie say" Wherever I be,and wherever my daughters be......."

Tell me he didn't say that...... please

I didn't hear it, but I wouldn't be surprised considering that this is the man who recently said "The boom times will be getting even more boomer."

Bertiespeak should be a certified third level subject. Or at least there should be an evening class called "Understanding Bertiespeak"

You might have tried this already, but give the RTÉ Website a go. It's one for the Bertieisms anyway.
