Hello, I'm new here and am looking forward to buying one of the new archos pmps. I was wondering if a 320 x 240 resolution would be good enough for watching videos, i mean I am going to put a lot of video on this thing. C'mon, QVGA is 1/4 the resolution of standard tv. So How's the quality?

according to a few people who have the archos pma 400 (which is also 320x240) it is "fine" for watching video's not brillant but good. I don't have one myself so I'm not sure but that's what they said, are you talking about the 404?

QVGA may be only quarter the resolution of a standard tv, but remember you'll be watching it on a screen that's only a fraction the size of a tv as well, so generally it's fine. However if you're planning on connecting the PVP to the tv then make sure that it can at least output VGA.

I'm waiting for the 404 camcorder, but want to find out about the pictures and videos it records.
