looking for a 2mm - 4mm transmittor. need to set up a proximitey warner. need pretty much a radio that warns when something has gone out of range. any ideas?

not 100% sure but i do think maplins do DIY kits like this...

Maplins is the place to go, defo. There are loads of things that do this (for security purposes).
