What makes a great photo for newspaper front page???

    Photo-editors out there: what makes a good photo to put on the front page of a newspaper?

    This is purely from a PR perspective, i.e. i'm not a photograher, but I want to hire one and get a good photo related to our company on the front page of some newpapers.

    The business is based abroad and the theme would be glamour/class/relaxation.....

    All feedback welcome..

    put simply, famous people or attractive women or ideally attractive famous women

    why would a newspaper put what is basically a free advert on the front of their paper unless it's something that grabs the attention of the passing customer in a newsagents

    Organise an event and invite some celebrities, then tell all the papers. I would agree with the famous women. Glenda Gilson is never out of the domestic papers. Just seen your location so get some famous French ladies to the event. Can you say what exactly the business is and maybe we can suggest something? Maybe hire a club in Paris for a couple of hours, get a publicist on your side. Stuff like that..
