Watching the Rose of Tralee the other night (Ya, I know I am cool).......................

ANYWAY, all the girls or 75% of the ones I saw have boyfriends. I was like WTF?

Is this totally against the whole ethos of lovely girl contest?

Even the winner from Queensland, Australia said in todays paper said he couldnt wait to get back to her boyfriend in Oz. And there was me thinking "She will be mine, Oh yes she will be mine"

Isn't it a contest to find the 'lovliest (single) girl' in Ireland?

Funniest thing was the Sydney Roses two brothers. They both had big mops of curly hair like a couple of hobbits. Then she tells Ray that her Dad is a hairdresser and the camera goes straight to the 2 lads. Ray and the rest of the dome are in knots laughing...along with myself.

    Lol! I missed that.

I only saw the last part of it, just tuned in as Ray was walking the line of all the Roses and saying 'will it be ... will it be ' whatever all their names are... to each single girl. How does he remember all their names I thought!

Ah but its Ray Darcy, he wouldnt forget a lovely girl's name... :D

The other funny bit was on the Monday when the escorts award was given and they were interviewing the guy with the '16yr year old girls' voice..god i actually had tears rolling down my face..:D

In the last couple of years I've noticed that most of the Roses have become generally very shagable. When Toronto did he salsa dance I almost had a sex-wee.

Did anyone else crack up at the thought of all the republican Americans in the house as Ms. Dubai sang some popular Arabic pop song? :D If i was there, obviously being evening there wouldve been an atrocoious amount of drink consumed, ida probably been dragged out of the place roaring "UP AL QUEDA UP HIZBOLLAH!" during it.
