So I have what appears to be a permanetly lit white pixel on my 19'viewsonic lcd and man it's pretty annoying, it's not a stuck pixel as far as I know, I have tried the massaging technique(worked on a stuck pixel on freinds monitor) and also the crazy program that flashes the screen repetitively but no luck.
There is hardly any extensive info on the net about white pixels either....

    Any ideas?

Sorry to do this to you....but you're screwed. :) They're annoying as hell, but there's nothing you can do to get rid of them if you've already tried those two techniques.

Most LCD monitor warranties state how many pixels can end up like that before they´ll consider it for replacement. It´s a balls but its obviously expected to happen by the manufacturer if it´s stated in the warranty

Most companies wont replace or repair unless you have 3 or more pixels dead!

Yea same with my monitor... I tried to get it replaced but it was only one pixel... I got use to it and I never ever notice it now... My brother shot my monitor with a pellet gun also.... I dont notice that either... so I shouldnt be hard for you :D

if pixels are near the edge of screen, you could sell it to someone.who just wants to browse the web with thier pc.
