Feilipe Massa's contract with ferrari is up at the end of the year, and as of yet he doesn't have a drive for next year. If Kimi has in fact signed for Ferrari next year, and Schumacher does stay (and i hope he does), then things dont look to bright for Massa.

In my honest opinion, i think Massa has done enough this year, to justify hi keeping his place with Ferrari next year. If Schumacher stays, Massa Should aswell. as good as Kimi is, you cant hide from the facts that Massa has done a brilliant job for ferrari this year, he has been very competitive with Schumi and he is 3rd in the drivers championship.

i know that ferrari want Kimi to be Schumi's long term replacement, but its gonna be really unfair if Massa getss dumped by Ferrari.

Just wondering am i the only person who feels that Massa is gonna be unfairly dumped by Ferrari.

No, it's not unfair. Massa is very quick & has given MS a run for his money on occasion. Kimi is in a different class however. When MS retires there will be Alonso, Kimi and maybe Kubrica at the top of the F1 pile.

Kubrica...... are you serious? Kimi and Fernando are gonna be there but you have to be kidding about Robert Kubica..... how can u possibly forcast him being at the top of the pile.....

I still think it will be interesting to see if Kimi really does show his 'class' next year. To be honest, I'm still not sure about him, I certainly dont think he has anywhere near the skill of Schumacher. The hype surrounding him continues to astound me.

I just have a feeling about him...but i hope i'm wrong because I don't think he has the personality/looks/background to 'promote' the sport. Un-PC? Probably... Superficial? Perhaps...

I kind of agree with you there. Although he really hasnt been given a proper chance at meclaren either due to lack of speed(car) or reliability.

I would love to see him stay where he is though, cause i follow meclaren and the teamup of Kimi and Alanso could only fail due to a lack of a fast enough car underneath them ( which would probably happen.)

Give him a few years. have you seen his friday lap times during the season? The kid's absolute dynamite. Granted he's probably running different gear and pushing the setup but you don't regularly blitz an f1 field on what, on the face of it, isn't the quickest car out there without being just a little special. Granted fast race times, not fast lap times win races and he lacks experience on long runs but hell, he's fast.

yes massa is good this year..
Good car makes a good driver..
Look at where he was last year, a nobody..
why? because the car wasn't good..

I think if kimi is going to ferrari, it'll be even better with MS..
Kimi's slump of form is because of a terrible car this year..
IMO he has more experience than massa..

I think Alonso's dream will come crashing down next year unless McLaren pull something out of their A$$..
With pretty much top personnel gone from McLaren..
The future doesn't look so bright for them..

Well Massa showed alot of maturity today to take his deserved first victory. the problem Massa has it's impossible to gauge exactly where he is as GP driver when he's being fed as Schumacher's personal bitch just like Barrichello and Irvine before him. I think today showed that's there's alot more to Massa if he's given an equal opportunity, if Schumacher retires he'll stay for definite, if Schumacher stays he's gone sadly.
