    Hey,

OK, here is my story, I was always slim (slim size 10, but have always had big boobs), but I put on a bit of weight in my last year of college and am about a size 12/14 now.

I don't think my body shape has gone beyond repair, I think with the right diet and exercise plan I could get back to my former glory - BUT - I need help.

Every time I vow to stick to a healthy eating/living plan, I am so easily swayed by a boozy night out, or a take away and a DVD, that I never stick to it.

Basically I am looking for a Boards Fitness Buddy, someone who is willing to help me to stick to a healthy living plan by checking up on me, via email or pm etc, and giving me encouragement or advice etc.

I know I am asking a lot of a total stranger, ans I understand if this post is met with a big old "F' OFF!", but I felt it was worth a try.

It is my birthday in 6 weeks and I would love to even just shed a about half a stone by then, if that is possible.

I am ready for some tough love, is there anyone out there ready to give it to me.

*:o Blushes at above pun - was not intended!

EDIT - Attached a 'before' weight gain and 'after' weight gain picture, just so you know what your dealing with.

Half a stone in 6 weeks is definitly possible.

I don't know how Dave feels about it, I know he wanted a seperate forum but that does not seem to be coming yet, but perhaps you could just use this thread as a log and post every day, or every 3 days or whatever, just about what you have been eating, what exercise you did, how your feeling, if you cheated, if you lost weight etc... then with that people could advise and encourage etc...

It would be awkward if there were a lot of threads like it because they would constantly be floating around but it might be a decent trial run to have one going and it may bolster the support for a sub-forum.

Failing that, Dragan always seems game for dealing out rough love! (Do no misconstrue!)

Thats a really good idea. If the mods would allow it, I would be keen to give it a shot!

ye i was thinking the same thing and have already bumped the origianl thread so Mrs doyle add your name to this http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=51891063

anyway as smelly said you may just want to use this thread as an online fitness diary (if daveirl has no objections) and that way we can all be b@stards.
    emmmmmmm b@stard

Are you serious? I was much fitter and healthier in the old snap.

Little things bug me about my current shape, for example, I hate having to suck in or risk belly over hang, which is not very pretty!

I just wanna shift about 20 lbs in total.

I want to do it sensibly, and I am willing to take my time if it means the weight-loss will be more permanent.

The second shot is slightly harder to see shape in because of the dress etc... you still have a great shape though and have certainly not gone "beyond repair" (or infact so far as to need repair), I would say there is a nice middleground sitting between the before and after. I am no expert on female bodies but 20lb might even be a bit much, I am not sure though and that is for you to decide; we are just here for the encouragement etc... if all goes ahead.

I was a full 2stone lighter in the first picture then I am now.

I was very lucky, when I put on weight it seemed to spread evenly, unlike many of my mates who ended up with a big belly, or big bum, I just got a bit bigger - everywhere - lol :D

If I wanted to go back to weight I was in the first picture I would actually have to lose about 30lbs!
