I was taken on to carry out an User Admin role, but in the 6 months I've been here I have taken on a hell of alot more and in the last 2 weeks 2 members of the team have left so we're in the position of 3 people…

Need some advice here,

Any advice or suggestions on how to go about going for the increase is welcome.

make a list of all the benefits you provide to the company so that you can explain to the management why you are an essential part of the team. aim higher than you want. have the balls to demand what you want

Wait for them to invite you to a meeting regarding an extension/new contract, that will put you into a better position to put your demands on the table.
