From DVD too my Hard Drive

    So there are a number of DVD's that I OWN that I'd like to be able to turn into .avi's and store on my imac.

    Anybody know any free and easy to use software that I could use in the same vain as mp3 conversion?

    There is a programme called Mac the Ripper that I've used in the past that does a good job of it.

    You'll need something else for AVI conversion though.

    There's also an instant handbrake. It's at a really early beta stage (You can't even choose what folder you save them too!) but it's really handy, i'm ripping all my 24 episodes at the moment with it :)

    Don't leave the picture format on full screen cos it crops the size to fit iPods, change it to original.
