Wasn't sure if this should be in the travel forum?

I'm just wondering how easy it would be to get a working visa for the U.S, even for a short period of time.. a 3 month visa would suffice... I have no qualifications or anything, incase that makes a difference?

    Thanks in advanced.

I'm pretty sure there is no such visa. The only way to get a visa to work in the USA for a few months is if you are a student returning to study in Ireland - this is the J1 visa. Best place to check will be with the American Embassay or try their website. If all else fails keep an eye out for the Green Card Lottery. Good luck.

Don't know of any such visa unless you got a company to sponsor you for a short-term contract or something.

With the dollar still quite low, you might be better off saving up from your job in Ireland and just taking a long holiday if you want to see The States.

If you are looking for a longer term visa, check out the Green Card sticky in Region->Abroad.

Agreed, there are working visas but they are mainly used for companies who are sending some workers to the US for a short time I believe. You can stay in the US for 90 days with no visa but you are not allowed to work.
