After Sept 11th 2001, they ran a full page add in the Examiner (and I assume the other nationals) with an adapted picture of the "uncle sam wants you" WW2 poster. It was a picture of uncle sam pointing out of the page, with a caption that went along the lines of, we want YOU to keep flying, don't let the terrorists win. And then info on the current deals. It was pretty sick.

Fair play to Ryanair, its just overkill right in every airport around the world! One in four get searched! and now the new thing in the states (Houston airprot anyway) if you look nervous you will be stopped!! Crazy
