You sure you've got the dates right there?

They usually release most stuff on a wednesday, but I'd be very surprised if they put out any demos on a saturday. Sure that's not supposed to be the releases for each of the next few weeks.

Looking forward to getting some of those anyway.

If so, it is not likely, there's a small chance but I don't think it's ever going to happen.

Also, Robinh, Xbox Live Arcade games are released on Wednesdays. Vids, Demo's etc etc are not restricted to any particular day.

True, they currently have an ongoing promo type thing where they are releasing a ew arcade game each wednesday for a while that just started recently. But Major Nelson has said several times in his blog/ podcast thingy that they don't release new stuff around (before) or on weekends because they like to have their time off the same as everyone else, and releasing stuff on a friday is not a good idea incase there are some issues with it that some poor soul then need to come in and fix.

Those releases could be on consecutive thursdays though.

Ermm... Forza Motorsport 2 demo this week? There'd be a huge amount of hype before something like that, I don't think there's been any indications the game is anywhere near far enough along for a demo to be coming out yet either.

Thats a very interesting schedule I've been reading the Forza 2 devs blog for a while now and forums, they have not released much on the game and no real screenshots or video so it would be a huge surprise if they had a demo, although the game is 2 months from launch, and you what MS has been saying about releasing demos increases game sales.

I downloaded the Just cause videos yesterday its looking like a good game wish I had the money to buy all the games that are coming out.

Also they have broken the Xbox Marketplace rule of no content on a friday a few times as they usually release midnight on a Thursday or 8am GMT so that at least they are in the office on Friday if something goes wrong. Interesting point on one of Major Nelsons Podcasts was that all live servers run on GMT time so that when they say something is releaseed it be be released on the same day no matter what timezone you are in.

So far what I've noticed is new cars, including a motorbike, you can play online now, gameplay seems the same, although I haven't played the old demo in ages! Demo timer goes for an hour!

As I'm also stuck in work I got my wife to start downloading the Test Drive demo and the Just Cause demo so hopefully one of them is ready to play when I get home.

I'm looking forward to Pro Evo 6 more than anything else. Just hope it lives up to expectation. Wasn't too impressed with the Just Cause demo. Thought it kinda stank.
