I got a Japanese game a few weeks ago and just when I was starting to get the hang of it my ps2 died, this may have something to do with the fact I couldn't install the flip top correctly and so left the cd drive open. Anyway, I have to get a new ps2 and I still want to be able to play this game my question is this. Is it easier to install a flip top in the new slimline ps2's than it was on the older bulkier models?

I should point out that this game isn't a copy it's a japanese wrestling game which I bought directly from the japanese equivalent of GAME.
