The Kilbeggin American Show is on on the 3rd sun of Sep, I might head down on the sat as you can camp and there is music and a cruise.

Its FREE in for people who bring their American cars. How many yank tanks do we have here and who might be going?

Got my invitation in the post (thanks Joe!)

    Mustang 68,
I had a call this morning about the show and organising tents etc. But i was informed that you had to be a member of MAAC to do the show.. Is this true? I doubt it for some reasons but he was fairly sure u had to join the club to b involved. If someone could clear this up id appreciate it..Cheers

(I have nothing to do with the show, I just have a soft spot for it)

To go to the show you don't have to be a member, are you talking about helping?

From what i was told to Join in the barbecue you must be a member of MAAC??? Anyone know

Not sure of that one. You could email them at: info@maac-ireland.com
    And you'd know for sure.

My understanding was that they were pretty relaxed about it, that if you go to the effort to bring your american car there and you're camping, that they'll look after you. However, maybe the official word is different. I wouldn't mind throwing some money in for the bbq or what ever, they put on a great show for the two days.

    HI gents,
just to clear things up, the saturday/saturday night is only for owners of American Auto's not the public and you don't have to be a Maac member. Sunday is for the public. Our show is for American trucks , cars and bikes and some custom autos all non american stuff will be welcome but will go into the public carpark ;).
hope this clears things up but post up any questions and i'll have a go at answering them.
    cheers
    joe

are there many original Irish reg American cars left or maybe they are all scrapped or turned into hearses? I saw a ZJ regd Cadillac driving towards me one day. Looked like a early 60s Deville/Fleetwood, blue in colour.:)

Remember this Mustang that was in that terrible film Taffin?

When Mywheels.ie done the full details thing, this was taxed till November 2009. Surely it's still around.

Lads, this thread is confusing as started in '06! Should be locked and a new thread started for this year?

In fact, I'll start the new thread!
