35mm/Digital SLR Lens Compatibility Nikon/Canon EOS

    With Canon EOS cameras I understand any EF lens will fit. EFS are only for use smaller digital (APS size) sensors. Other Canon non-EF lenses can't be used.

    How does it work with Nikon lenses?

    Nikkor DX lenses can only be used with Nikon Dslrs(edit:unless you want circular images !)

    Practically all Nikkor AF lenses can be used with Nikon D slr's(1.5x crop factor)

    Many older Manual lenses can be used,although full metering etc may only be available on the up market models ie D2X D200 etc
