Looking to start band pink floyd style(original though)

    Hey, nice first post this, I'm a guitarist aged 20 been playing for 5 years, I've a good bit of gigging exp. my influences on playing would be marty friedman, jason becker, chuck schuldiner joe satriani etc...

    Right i'm looking to start a band one of my main influence would be pink floyd and some stuff by the eagles, basically i want to make well written thought provoking music unfortuntatly i've no way of getting any samples up at the moment, I want to create something original really, hopefully you get me, if not please ask questions! I'm starting from scratch so anyone interested whatever you play is welcome, of course especially a drummer!! Would be preferred if you had some decent experience playing with people or gigging, hope to hear from someone.

    I like the idea you're getting at, i'm a singer song writer (24), big Floyd fan, would definitely be interested in making some 'thought provoking' intelligent music.

    Hi luke,
    I am a huge floyd fan also looking to start a group along the same vein. I'm in my twenties but have been playing on stage since I was a nipper. If your serious (but only if your serious) then send me a mail!!! I'm a guitarist/vocalist. Play other bits and pieces to... Have a full range 1.2 kilowatt p.a system, usefull for rehearsals as well as gigging in venues that aren't really venues.
    I am 1000% committed so, give me a shout if your interested!!
