Some really great stuff in there. I was full sure I had my fav klingklang until I hit coolboardr, super shot. I dont know why I keep forgetting to submit, sigh. Ah well.. maybe next time Ill remember in time. Best of luck all

Had to go with Poolbeg Towers by Dimy; I think the layering had a lot to do with it!

Very tough choice, though.

I wish I had know that panoramas were allowed - have a lot of them. Mis-read the rules, it seems!

Its funny, currently anyway, if you have 3 or 4 votes your photo is impressive, 0 votes - your photo is impressive but not as good as others. 1 vote - your photo isn't as good as others and you were vain enough to vote for yourself.

I agree, when there is a clear winner I think just go with that. When its very close then you could have another round maybe

Anyone else think these competitions run a tad too long?
24 days to get entries in, then 2 x 10 days for voting...
Over 6 weeks!
I think a week for entries, and a week for voting should be plenty. No need for a second round of voting. If you win in the first round you're picture is the best. The 2nd. round gives people a chance to canvas votes for possibly inferior pictures.

I think the challenge is a great idea to get people out experimenting with their cameras, but if you take your picture early you have to wait ages for the next one.

Even with all the time provided I still usually only get 1 vote.

I suppose I should have mentioned it was a HDR photo, so that'd explain the second photo.

Where you take two photos of the same scene to capture a wider exposure range. Like when you take photo and the sky is washed out, you then take a photo with the sky in correct exposure and combine the two to get a HDR image.

How does b/w street portrait sound? not posed, strangers prefered, presented in b/w? busker, tourist, person working (street cleaner / police / postman....)

I'm kinda new here, and perhaps it has been done before, if so, open to the floor. (and no, I dont have one waiting in the wings :-)
